This overview is pretty good: https://www.lacrosseplayground.com/quick-look-at-the-college-recruiting-process/

Some things to think about:

  • Club ball (CT Sharks) can give you a great perspective and allow you get a different coaching experience.

  • Most college lacrosse programs offer a few clinics by their coaching staff.

  • Reaching out to the coach and get their advice on where to be seen is a good idea. Be respectful of their busy time, but be personable - they are looking to build teams and a community. To do that, they need to get to know how you’ll fit in.

  • This doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. We make all our game film available to players - building a highlight video is only a time commitment. Inviting coaches to a OSHS game doesn’t cost you anything and you’ll be surprised how many coaches are willing to make the trip.
