Week of 5/16

Team,

I am still feeling the results of last week’s 4 games and I am sure you are too. We split them, won 2 and lost 2 but I think the better story is the come back we staged against Old Lyme. Coming back to tie the game from a 0-5 first half, a feeling so many of us have seen during our time in Old Saybrook is a resounding testament to our grit, fight and determination. We’ll carry that into this weeks events:

• Monday, practice 2:45-5 on the turf

• Tuesday, away game at Morgan. Bus @ 2:30. Varsity: 4pm start. JV 6pm start

• Wednesday, practice 2:45-5 on the turf

• Thursday, away game at Valley. Bus @ 2:30. NOTE: JV 4pm start. Varsity 6pm start. This is their Senior Day

• Friday TBD (likely practice 2:45-5 on the turf)

We are playing some of the best lacrosse our school has seen in some time. I am very excited for this weeks challenges and know it’s going to take every one of us to continue the fight.
